Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Kemar Blake is the owner of Bellyful Restaurant in Brooklyn, a vibrant establishment serving up delicious food and drinks with a side of culture since 2018. With a motto of "where culture meets taste," Kemar has expanded his reach by creating R.O.T.A Reggae.On.The.Avenue in 2019, an event celebrating our musical heritage. This year, the focus is on Africa with an exciting event called A Night in Africa, derived from our yearly calendar event.

Chase Desire is a committed enthusiast who believes in chasing one desires to achieve success in any endeavor. As the curator for Afrobeats & Reggae Tworl, established in 2018, Chase has successfully created events that unite the African and Caribbean cultures through music, language, fashion, and dance. In 2020, Chase curated a memorable afrobeats experience for R.O.T.A’s International night. With over 10 years of experience and certifications in entertainment and education, and deep admiration for afrobeats and reggae, Chase is dedicated to promoting cultural unity and artistic expression, which she brings to “A Night in Africa”.
Krissa Unruly
As the marketing and advertising creator for Bellyful Restaurant, Krissa Unruly is responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase brand awareness. Krissa initiated the idea of “A Night in Africa”. With her creative flair, Krissa has successfully executed numerous marketing campaigns that have helped Bellyful Restaurant attract new customers and retain existing ones. Her passion for advertising shines through in all of her work.
